Configure Microsoft Outlook Express Print

We have made it very easy for you to configure Microsoft Outlook Express.

To set it up automatically:

  1. Go to www.netholistic.com
  2. Click on login LOGIN from the top menu
  3. Enter your login information
  4. From the Client Area click on My Hosting Packages
  5. Click on the View Details button of the accounts cPanel you want to enter
  6. Click on Login to cPanel
  7. From the cPanel click on the Mail iconMail Icon
  8. Click on the Add/Remove/Manage Accounts
  9. Click on the Configure Outlook button on the right of the account that you wish to set up
  10. Click on the Auto-configure Microsoft Outlook Express for POP3 or IMAP (POP3 is strongly recommended since it will perform faster. Choose IMAP only if you wish to use both Outlook and Webmail to check your email)
  11. Follow the instructions and you are done! 

To setup Microsoft Outlook Express manually:

 Step 1: Open Outlook Express, and click on the Tools menu. Select Accounts.

 Step 2: Click Add account and select Mail. Step 3: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the From: field of all outgoing mail. Step 4: Enter the email address which the others will use to send email messages to you. Step 5: Incoming mail server (POP3 server): yourdomain.com

Outgoing mail server (SMTP server): yourdomain.com

Please, set the SMTP port to 25 or 2525. (Read more about Port 25)

 Step 6: Username: please use the full e-mail account name. Example: you@yourdomain.com instead of you.

Password: ***********

 Step 7: Click Finish. Step 8: Now click once on the newly created account, and choose Properties. Go to the Servers tab and check My server requires authentication. Please do not use secure authentication as we do not support this method.

If you want the messages to be kept on the server, choose the Advanced tab and check Leave a copy of messages on server, click OK.

 Step 9: You are done!

NB: Please make sure that you check your incoming e-mail messages before trying to send any. Most servers use the POP-before-SMTP scheme, which disallows sending messages without checking your mail.

 Step 8: Now click once on the newly created account, and choose Properties. Go to the Servers tab and check My server requires authentication. Please do not use secure authentication as we do not support this method.

If you want the messages to be kept on the server, choose the Advanced tab and check Leave a copy of messages on server, click OK.

 Step 9: You are done!
